Build Your Power Presence

Over the coming weeks, I’m going to share the seven components needed for a strong social media strategy, i.e., a Power Presence. It doesn’t matter if you’re a personal brand or a global organization, you need these seven principles.

See you here next Monday to start the week-by-week explanation of these key social media elements.

INSTAGRAM: So randomly fun! If you need someone to send the emoji to to try out, send it to me @katiemckiever. I’ll immediately know what you’re doing.

LINKEDIN: Diversify your feed.

META: Bookmark this info.

META: “The states said New York has since 2019 received a 1,000% increase in complaints about scammers who access accounts and change passwords, enabling them to read private messages and pose as actual users to deceive contacts and the public.

Four of the states — Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Vermont — reported increases in complaints exceeding 250% in the last year alone.”

PINTEREST: 6 good tips

PINTEREST: I love these deep-dives into trends that Pinterest publishes.

PINTEREST: There are 4 body types to choose from.

REDDIT: It’s free.

THREADS: The drafts feature never sounds like a big deal until you’re in the middle of crafting a post, have to jump out of it unexpectedly and then go back to find that what you have carefully composed is still there. The best feeling.

TIKTOK: I did NOT think it would get this far. There’s still a long way to go, but this is the first time it’s felt real in that there could be actual massive change to TikTok as we know it.

TIKTOK: If you start noticing longer videos in your feed, this might be why.
