I haven’t read Charles’ new book, “Supercommunicators,” but I wholeheartedly agree with this quote from him: “Communications is the thing that makes success happen.”

We promote leaders, nominate officials, and elect presidents all based on how well they communicate.

INSTAGRAM: Storytelling themes from Instagram.

LINKEDIN: As you might already know, I’m feeling REALLY GOOD about LinkedIn Newsletters. I’m feeling even better about it now. “The product still lacks a lot of the data and features found on newsletter platforms like ConvertKit and Substack, but Roth says that LinkedIn plans to expand the product and compete directly against other platforms in the space.”

META: I’ve definitely noticed this shift too. Time will tell if Zuck’s change in communication style impacts Meta as a whole.

META: Monthly payouts will now be unlimited.

SOCIAL MEDIA: My favorite report of the year is here!

THREADS: Wow, impressive.

TIKTOK: This is getting uglier.

TIKTOK: The platform itself will now provide a monthly Trends Digest to keep up with the trends.

TWITTER/X: Lunch breaks seem to drive it.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP: New data! I have referred back to this Edelman-LinkedIn report many times in presentations I’ve given and in this newsletter. I’m so excited there’s an update! The last one was from 2022.

EMPLOYEE ADVOCACY: As an NVIDIA stockholder of 10 years, I was thrilled to read this article. Storytelling always wins.
